Fresh, organic, handcrafted coffee - that's Noble.

OUR MISSION

At Noble Coffee Roasting, we aim to enrich the lives of our customers by sourcing the world's finest coffees, roasting them to their highest potential, and by educating professional and home baristas how to best prepare and enjoy these coffees.

We believe that amazing coffee starts by sourcing the highest quality green coffees from organic farms and cooperatives, continues in the crafting of coffees with great attention upon roasting, and ends in the fine details of brewing. We are fully devoted to this process. We are both masters and students of the bean; confident in our product and ability to maximize its potential, yet always excited to learn more.

As dedicated as we are to creating wonderful coffee, we know that if our customers don't know how to brew it, our goal is incomplete. Our Noble crew is a coffee-loving group of kind folks who are eager to educate, share, and learn. As a company, we aim to create deep and lasting relationships with our suppliers and our customers, whether the interaction is face to face or from afar.

OUR STORY

As many movements do, Noble began as a humble dream in a garage. Founder, Jared Rennie, started working in coffee over 20 years ago. Although another career drew him away from professional coffee for some time, Jared's love for coffee and countless hours of researching and experimenting with roasting coffee, brewing coffee, and pulling espresso finally convinced him that coffee was where his heart lies. In 2007, with a Probat L12 roaster installed in his garage and a pallet of green coffee from all over the world, Jared set out to make great coffee.

Naming the company after his grandfather, Noble Dukes, Jared created an identity for the developing business that Noble would be proud of, with uncompromising dedication to quality, service, and sustainability.

Right away, many local folks throughout the Rogue Valley recognized the quality of coffee that Noble Coffee Roasting was producing and were excited to hear about the focus on sustainability. It wasn't long before many restaurants, cafes, hotels, bed and breakfasts, etc. were serving Noble Coffee to their guests.

As the wholesale business began to thrive, Jared sought to fulfill his dream by searching for an appropriate location to open a coffeehouse. In May of 2009, with a very strong team of coffee enthusiasts, the Noble Coffeehouse and Roastery was opened on 4th Street in Ashland's historical Railroad District.

The concept behind our Coffeehouse & Roastery was to create a space where we can continue to experiment with coffee, studying the complexities and breaking them down into condensed and approachable ideas for our customers. We love what we do and we feel very fortunate to be able to share what we love with our customers.
